What IPTVPass South Africa collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated 1 August 2026

Who we are

IPTVPass South Africa (“we”, “us”) operates https://iptvpass.co.za and supplies IPTV subscriptions to customers in South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here, as that term is used in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Questions about this policy or your information go to iptvpassza@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell you a subscription and support it.

  • When you order: your name, email address, phone number, the device you plan to use, the package you chose and any notes you add.
  • When you contact us: your name, email, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Automatically: standard server logs, and — if analytics is enabled — aggregate usage data about pages visited. We do not build advertising profiles.

We never see your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by the payment provider on their own systems. Nothing about your card reaches or is stored on our servers.

Why we use it

  • To create, activate and renew your subscription.
  • To send you payment instructions, login details and setup help.
  • To answer your questions and troubleshoot problems.
  • To keep records required for accounting and tax.

Our lawful basis is performing the contract you entered into with us, and our legitimate interest in running and supporting the service. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary to deliver the service:

  • Payment providers, to process your payment.
  • Email and hosting providers, to store data and deliver messages.
  • Regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for five years, as South African tax law requires. Support messages are kept for two years so we have context if you come back. Ask us to delete anything not covered by a legal retention requirement and we will.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
  • Object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent was the basis.
  • Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Email iptvpassza@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Passwords are hashed and are never recoverable in plain text. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for the administrator login. If analytics is enabled, the analytics provider sets its own cookies to count visits. The public site does not require cookies to work, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

The service is sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you, tell you by email.
