Why we started

Television in South Africa has been expensive for a long time. A package with sport, movies and general entertainment runs well past R1,000 a month, before the decoder and the installation, and before the dish stops working the moment a thunderstorm rolls over Gauteng.

IPTV solved that for us personally, but the market around it was a mess. Sellers disappeared after payment, streams froze during finals, and “support” meant a WhatsApp number that never replied. We built IPTVPass to be the version we wanted to buy: a real business, priced in rands, that answers the phone.

What we will not tell you

We will not claim IPTV is right for everyone. If your internet is unreliable or heavily capped, satellite is the safer choice and we will say so before you pay. We would rather lose the sale than spend the next month troubleshooting a line that was never going to work.

We also will not pretend the picture is magic. It is video over your internet connection — the same connection carrying everything else in the house. Ten megabits gets you HD, twenty-five gets you 4K, and no provider can change that.

How we work

Four things we hold to

Not slogans — these are the decisions that shape how the service actually behaves.

Built for South African lines

Our servers peer into Johannesburg and Cape Town, and every stream steps down gracefully instead of freezing when a line wobbles. That is a deliberate choice for a market where 10 Mbps LTE is normal.

No contracts, ever

You pay for a period and it runs out. No debit orders, no cancellation fees, no 24-month lock-in. If the service stops being worth it, you simply do not renew.

Support that answers

One WhatsApp number, real people, around the clock. Setup help on your first device is free — we will walk you through it rather than sending a PDF.

Priced in rands

No forex fees, no surprise conversions. What the site says is what leaves your account.

Our story

How we got here

  1. 2019

    Started with one reseller line

Frustrated by satellite pricing and by IPTV sellers who vanished after payment, we started supplying friends and family in Gauteng.

  2. 2022

    Moved to our own infrastructure

Load-balanced servers with automatic failover replaced the single upstream source. Buffering complaints dropped away almost overnight.

  3. 2024

    24/7 support

Support moved from evenings-only to round the clock, because a match at 22:00 is exactly when a line failing matters most.

  4. Today

    48,000+ households

13 078 listed channels, 90,000+ on-demand titles, and customers in all nine provinces.

Johannesburg, Gauteng

Nothing to lose

Every plan is money-back guaranteed for its entire length. If it does not perform on a line that meets the requirements, you are refunded.
